Jamila is passionate about her work with individuals as they navigate the complex
challenges they experience in life! The approach is two-fold, she starts with helping you
discover the person you want to be, which means getting past all the things that have
held you back. Then she’ll work to assist you in developing the tools you need to live
your best life. The approach to finding solutions is through a collaborative effort.
Jamila’s therapeutic approach is informed by cognitive behavioral Therapy, trauma
informed services, motivational interviewing and family systems work as well as
integrating other evidence-based modalities.
She has provided individual, group and family therapy with those who have experienced
trauma in their homes and communities.
